The latest full backup of the database was taken one hour 10 minutes ago and is 21.2 MB in size.
A complete backup is taken every two hours. All of these backups are retained for seven days; a daily backup is retained for three months.
The intent of the backups is to allow us to recover quickly from a disaster situation such as a major hardware failure or a fire at our data centre, requiring a quick rebuild of the system to get us back up and running as fast as possible with minimal data loss.
It is possible for us to retrieve specific information such as accidentally-deleted pupil records. However, depending on the nature of the request, recovery may be involved and might incur an additional charge. Contact us to discuss if needed.
